Former governor of Oyo State and chieftain of leading opposition party, the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Alhaji Lam Adesina is dead.
He reportedly passed on in the early hours of today, Sunday at the age of 73 and would buried at his country home in Ibadan today according to Islamic Rites. The Oyo state state Governor has confirmed the news.
The erstwhile governor was born January 20, 1939. He became the governor of Oyo State on May 29, 1999 on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) party.
