Taraba State Governor, Danbaba Suntai and five others were this evening involved in a plane crash. The plane was piloted by the governor. Contrary to initial reports by some online publications that the governor died in the plane crash, current developments suggests that Dambaba Suntai, was indeed on the flight but he is in critical condition, not dead.
They have since been evacuated from the site and currently receiving treatment in Yola General Hospital.
The private jet Cessna 208 crashed 38 miles to landing.
