The police have arrested a middle aged man, identified as Ben Ariwelo for allegedly defiling an 8 year old girl in Bayelsa State.
Vanguard gathered that the incident occurred last week at the riverside town of Otuoke in Ogbia local government area of the state.
It was gathered that the under aged girl said to be an imbecile was lured to a public toilet where the suspect had canal knowledge of her. A neighbour who noticed the unusual movement around the public convenience reportedly raised an alarm which attracted other natives to the scene.

The randy man according to witnesses was caught pant down by the community folks and handed to the police.
The state police commissioner, Mr. Kingsley Omire confirmed the incident adding that the suspect would be charged to court.
He said, “yes one Ben Ariwelo, an adult was arrested for defiling an imbecile teenage girl of 8year in a public toilet at Otuoke community in Ogbia local government Area.”
