Who owns the land? Calvary Anglican Church Vs Juju Priest

The priest of a deity called Onura in Eleme (L.G.A) of Rivers State, demands the sum of two hundred thousand Naira (N200,000) from the Calvary Anglican Church also in Eleme (L.G.A)
The juju priest, Chief Obele Osarokote claims that the land which the Church was built on belongs to his deity.
The Reverend, on behalf of the Church defended, saying that the land was bought from the Families of Oluji Ndo and Okereke Oluka Ogbara all from the same Eleme community. The juju priest said that the Church destroyed the abode of his deity without due regard and built a Church upon it.
The Reverend in his statement said, that while the land was abandoned and believed by the Community to be evil, the Calvary Anglican Church decided to eliminate the darkness and  stop the Community from their evil belief on the land.
The juju priest quoted to the Church that they should "give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar".
On behalf of the Calvary Anglican Church, Rev Steve Enuani said there is no way the Church can condescend so low to go and pacify the shrine, thereby urging the members of the Calvary Anglican Church not to live by fear, but should believe in God that the battle is of the Lord for their victory.
