‘I sold Pasuma’s Range Rover Sport for N950,000’

Kasali Adegoke, the leader of the armed robbery gang that robbed popular fuji musician, Wasiu Alabi aka Pasuma, of his 2006 Range Rover Sport, says he sold the vehicle for N950,000.

A search on the Internet by our correspondent, however, suggested that used version of the vehicle sells for N3.5m, while a new one costs between N8m and N9m.

The 32-year-old, who is currently in detention at the Special Anti Robbery Squad, Ogun State, said he sold the car to a receiver at Cotonou.

Popstar Rihanna was asked to leave an Abu Dhabi mosque because she didn’t have permission for a photoshoot, according to reports. 

The 25-year-old was seen dressed from head-to-toe in a hooded black jumpsuit as she posed outside the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque on Saturday.

Policeman brutalises eight-year-old daughter over witchcraft

A police sergeant from Ibiaku community, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Ita Ayamba, has allegedly brutalised and abandoned his eight-year-old daughter, Goodness Ayamba over her refusal to confess to witchcraft.

Ita was said to have paraded the little girl along the village streets naked, declaring that Goodness was responsible for his retrogression in the Police Force.

A source and relative of Ita, told our correspondent in Eket on Saturday, on the condition of anonymity,

that the police sergeant tortured his daughter for several hours in an attempt to extract a confession of being a witch from her.

He said, “When he discovered that Goodness had passed out, Ita abandoned her, having hit her chest with the butt of his AK 47 Rifle.

Naked dead bodies of man, lover discovered in Ogun

Residents of Ago-Iwoye; a community in Ijebu North Local Government Area of Ogun State were stunned yesterday when they discovered naked and lifeless bodies of a father of four and his lover in a room.

The 50-year-old man, who was simply identified as Akeem, was said to be living with his four children and wife in a one room apartment in the highly populated community before the sad incident occurred.

It was gathered that his wife and three children were said to have travelled to Imodi Imosan to celebrate Sallah with his families and he decided to entertainment himself with a female lover.

PHOTOS: Plane carrying Agagu’s body crashes in Lagos

An aircraft with the body of a former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Agagu, on board, crashed in Lagos on Thursday morning less than a minute after take-off from the local wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja.

The EMBRA plane 120, with other 20 passengers on board, was conveying the body of the former governor, who died a week ago, to Akure, the state capital, for the final burial ceremonies.

The 30-seat plane, belonging to Associated Airlines, was said to have crashed around 9.20am immediately after take-off into the compound of a private firm, around the MMIA access gate.

Residents around the area told our corespondent that the plane exploded mid-air before coming down.

As of the time of filling this report, five of the passengers had been rescued out of the 20 on board.

The passengers, report claimed, could be relations of the late governor.
